The Society for the Maintenance of the Faith is pleased to announce the appointment of the Revd Russell Stagg, currently Vicar of Colgate and Roffey in the Diocese of Chichester, to be Vicar of St Michael and All Angels Beckenham and St James Elmers End. The appointment was made by the SMF and the Bishop of Rochester as joint patrons of the benefice, which is under the oversight of the Bishop of Richborough. A date for Fr Stagg’s institution and induction will be announced in due course.
Biographical note:
Before ordination, Fr Stagg worked in the IT industry. He trained for the priesthood at the South East Institute of Theological Education. He was assistant curate of St Chad’s, Haggerston, and then of St Alban’s, Holborn, and became Vicar of Colgate and Roffey in 2015.
